Attendance
Students are expected to be in attendance every day per the Michigan Revised School Act. In the virtual setting, student is considered present if:
- He/she is in attendance during each period's synchronous teaching AND there is evidence of two-way communication with at least one teacher, twice a week.
- Be sure to respond to any calls or emails from your child's teacher.
- Updated phone and parent email are essential.
- The two-way interactions must relate to a virtual course on your child’s schedule and pertain to course content or progress.
Missing 10 or more days without valid excuse will result in truancy proceedings.
