NOVA provides a smaller learning environment to educate students, in the third through twelfth grades, who need an alternative to the traditional academic setting. Non-traditional learners are supported by highly qualified teachers who provide personalized learning opportunities, character development, credit recovery and flexible learning schedules for students with unique academic or social emotional needs. In addition to the faculty, NOVA is staffed with a school counselor, social worker, and interventionists. NOVA is equipped with interactive boards, document cameras, and laptop carts to support the learning needs of students.

The NOVA staff has high expectations for students and provides opportunities for students to self-reflect, learn conflict management and develop study habits to provide a toolkit of strategies prior to their transition to a traditional academic setting. In addition to the use of a restorative ethos to build relationships and community, which establishes a foundation for students to reach their full academic potential. The success of our students is not only due to our highly quality staff, committed to meeting the needs of all learners but to the support of our families who partner with us to support the learning outcomes.
