In collaboration with our transportation partner, First Student, Oak Park Schools is relaunching First View®, a real-time GPS vehicle tracking and student transportation monitoring platform.
With First View, parents and caregivers can download the secure, easy-to-use vehicle tracking mobile app that will allow you to stay easily connected with your student(s) daily trips.
· See the real-time vehicle location via GPS and track its progress.
· Easy access to vehicle details as well as updates regarding any changes.
· Receive multiple distance-based ETA notifications when the vehicle is getting close.
· Set up family members and caregivers to receive trip email alerts.
· Dedicated customer support team for all app-related questions.

Transportation Information & Eligibility
If your child(ren) is enrolled in our Schools of Choice program, resides in Detroit and you want your child to ride the bus, you must register your child for busing each school year. Although your child may have previously utilized our transportation services, you must re-register each school year. Please fill out Student Transportation Request Form or call 248.336.7601 to register your child for transportation.
To ensure the safety and security of all of the students we transport, parents/guardians must ensure that they pick up and drop off students at the scheduled time from the bus stop locations in surrounding areas. All students must be registered for transportation to ride the bus. Unfortunately, utilizing transportation services without registering is prohibited.
Please Note: OPS Students enrolled in our School of Choice program who reside in Detroit are eligible to receive transportation.
