OPS Bid Package Elementary Bid Package #01 - HVAC Improvements

Oak Park Schools (OPS) will receive bids for:

Oak Park Schools 2021 Bond Program – Bid Package #01 Elementary HVAC Upgrades

Program consists of building wide HVAC upgrades at three (3) Elementary Buildings:

Bid Package #01 Elementary HVAC Upgrades- Einstein, Key, and Pepper Elementary HVAC Upgrades. Bids will be received until 2:00 PM, local time, Tuesday, December 21, 2021.

Bids are due via BuildingConnected at https://www.buildingconnected.com/. At the time the bid packages are due, all bids will be opened and read aloud at 2:30pm. Bids received after the above stipulated date and time will not be opened, considered, or accepted. Bids will be opened publicly via Zoom. See details below

Bid documents can be pre-ordered and purchased at the offices of ARC/Dunn Blue, 1009 W. Maple Road, Clawson, MI 48107 beginning November 15, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. Bid Documents can also be ordered online by contacting ARC/Dunn Blue for non-refundable purchase price for each bid package.

Non-mandatory pre-bid meeting took place on November 18th, additional walkthroughs will be accommodated upon request.

All bidders should be available on Wednesday and Thursday December 22 and December 23, 2021 for post bid interviews. Interviews will be on an invitation basis only and will be in person or video conference.

All bids must be submitted on forms furnished by Rockford Construction for the “Oak Park Schools – Bid Package #01 Elementary HVAC Upgrades” and be accompanied by a bidder’s bond or a certified or cashier’s check payable to Oak Park Schools for the sum of not less than five (5%) of the bid amount for the BASE BID Package. All bids must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the Owner (bidder) or any employee of the bidder and any member of the OPS Board, Administration or Staff. Bidders shall also provide a Sworn Statement of Economic Relationship with the Country of Iran. Bids received without a bidder’s bond, certified or cashier’s check, sworn and notarized statement of familial disclosure, and Iran Economic Statement MAY BE REJECTED.

Oak Park Schools reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, to waive any irregularities therein and accept that bid, which best serves the Oak Park School’s interest.
