Oak Park High School Principal Announcement

Renita Williams has been named the new principal of Oak Park High School.

 Oak Park Schools is pleased to announce that Renita Williams has been named the new principal of Oak Park High School.

Ms. Williams holds seventeen years of educational experience as a classroom teacher and administrator. Ms. Williams's most recent administrative experience includes serving as Principal at River Rouge High School in the River Rouge School District. Ms. Williams facilitated MTSS protocols, and professional development opportunities for staff, served as the ESSR & 21H grant writer, and developed the master schedule, among many other duties.

Upon acceptance of her new position, Ms. Williams stated, "My family and I are excited, blessed, and honored to be able to serve Oak Park High School and the Oak Park community as lead principal. I and the faculty and staff pledge to build upon the foundations of excellence to provide the best comprehensive high school experience."

Mr. Angel Abdulahad, Superintendent, commented, "We are extremely proud to announce Ms. Williams as the Principal of Oak Park High School. Ms. William's interest in Oak Park is sincere. Her interest and focus on developing each student as a whole person is commendable. She will bring out the best in the students of OPHS."
