Oak Parks Schools is elated to welcome our new Lessenger Principal, Ms. Simone Berry

Ms. Berry has served for the past four years as a Teacher Leader at Palmer Park Preparatory Academy, an experience that has shaped her belief in collaborative leadership and the power of student-centered learning. She is passionate about creating environments where students and educators can grow, thrive, and feel supported.

She holds a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education, a Master’s in Early Childhood Education, and is currently pursuing advanced studies in Educational Administration and Counseling at Eastern University. Her commitment to lifelong learning is reflected in the way she leads, mentors, and supports the school community.

As she joins Lessenger, Ms. Berry’s vision is to foster a positive, inclusive, and enriching environment where equity, social-emotional development, and academic excellence are prioritized. Together with families, staff, and community partners, she is committed to ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed.

She is also honored to help carry forward Lessenger’s proud traditions of community spirit, academic rigor, and innovation, guided by the school motto:
