Center for Advanced Studies and the Arts (CASA) Director Announcement

The Oak Park School District is excited to announce Mrs. Catherine Jasionowicz, fondly known as CJ, as the new Director of the Center for Advanced Studies and the Arts (CASA). With a robust background in education, encompassing roles in private and public schools, as well as higher education, Mrs. Jasionowicz brings a wealth of experience and steadfast dedication to nurturing the holistic development of our students.

Her academic trajectory, highlighted by a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Oakland University, a Master's degree in Science Education from Lawrence Tech, and an Education Specialist in Leadership from Oakland University, showcases her unwavering commitment to academic excellence. Since 2007, she has been an integral part of CASA's academic framework.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Mrs. Jasionowicz has actively advocated for student welfare and community engagement. Her involvement in coordinating fundraising events and leading STEM Spring Break trips illustrates her commitment to exposing students to diverse cultures and supporting initiatives like the Spirit of CASA Scholarship, honoring the memory of a former student.
