Key Elementary was alive with color, creativity, and community spirit during its 2nd Annual Art Show — a joyful celebration of imagination and student expression. Every student had their artwork proudly displayed, turning the school into a vibrant gallery of masterpieces.

This year’s show featured not just the main gallery but also an exciting new addition: the glow-in-the-dark gallery! Under blacklight, students’ fluorescent creations lit up the space, dazzling families and bringing a whole new dimension to their artistic talents.

Families enjoyed an afternoon full of interactive fun:

  • Face painting by the talented Art Club students
  • A lively selfie station to capture memories
  • A creative coloring zone for budding artists of all ages
  • The heartwarming Compliment & Artist Station, where guests left encouraging notes for student artists

“ The students and staff at Key poured their hearts into their artwork and this show,” said Director of Communications Brandon Jiles. “This event is about celebrating their creativity and helping them see themselves as artists — today and in the future.”

With talent like this, we wouldn’t be surprised to see some of these names one day displayed in the Louvre or the Detroit Institute of Arts!
